Dr. Jernee is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics. She is the only chiropractor practicing in Bergen County to have this distinction.
Prenatal Care
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is essential! Not only is the body undergoing huge weight and postural changes, the center of gravity is shifted and the spine and muscles need to compensate for the shift. Sciatic and pelvic pains are common during pregnancy and getting adjusted will ease the stress on the body. Additionally, research shows prenatal chiropractic helps to shorten labor and delivery times. Maintaining proper alignment of the pelvis will allow the fetus to be in the optimal head down position for delivery.

With a strong background in sports, having competed in triathlons, half and full marathons, a body building show, and a 350 mile bike ride, Dr. Jernee has the physical and mental experience of her patients who are athletes.
Chiropractic adjustments are an integral part of sports injury care. Releasing the soft tissue adhesions, aligning the joint, and prescribing specific exercises are all part of treatment.
